Creator Stays Participation Agreement
Version 2026-10-23.1 · October 23, 2026
Coming from the STR ToolBox app does not enroll you or replace this agreement. Before entering the Creator Stays member tools, every participating host and creator must confirm the adult-participation and responsibility statements and accept this agreement in their website account.
You and your collaboration partner manage the stay and the work. STR ToolBox provides connection and recordkeeping tools; it does not promise you a stay, booking, payment, content delivery, reimbursement or marketing result.
1. Who is participating
This agreement applies between you and STR ToolBox for ordinary, independently arranged Creator Stays collaborations. You must be at least 18 and meet any higher booking age disclosed by a host. Use accurate account, property, portfolio and audience information; label audience figures as self-reported where appropriate. A website account and this separate acceptance are required even if you already have an app account. No paid app plan or additional STR ToolBox program fee is required under the current program.
Participation does not create employment, agency, partnership or a joint venture with STR ToolBox. Each host and creator acts on their own behalf. You may not promise that you represent STR ToolBox or bind it to a stay, payment or other obligation.
2. What STR ToolBox does—and does not promise
STR ToolBox provides tools for profiles, browsing, participant-initiated applications and invitations, private communication, collaboration records, delivery links, progress and reminders. This is a self-service program. Hosts and creators find, contact and choose each other directly. STR ToolBox does not personally introduce or match people, negotiate their terms, arrange stays, forward their messages, supervise their work or chase deliverables. A profile, invitation, application, message, saved brief, Key rating or website status is not a property inspection, background check, identity guarantee, content-quality guarantee, insurance policy or endorsement of a participant.
STR ToolBox is not a party to the host–creator booking or content exchange. It does not own, operate, inspect or control an independently offered property, arrange transportation, hold stay payments, provide escrow, guarantee a participant's performance or insure the stay. It does not act as a travel agent, property manager, booking guarantor, employer or dispute adjudicator for these independent collaborations.
You are not entitled to a free trip, acceptance by another member, a particular property, content production, a feature, audience reach, bookings, revenue or compensation from STR ToolBox merely because you join, subscribe to the app, apply, travel or spend money preparing. STR ToolBox does not undertake to replace a failed stay, pay a participant's debt, reimburse travel or losses, complete another participant's work, recover money or negotiate a settlement. No employee or participant may promise those benefits without a separate, express written agreement authorized by STR ToolBox.
This ordinary community agreement does not erase an existing valid obligation or override an express agreement in which STR ToolBox itself undertakes specified work. Invitation-only Featured Stays and the Ambassador program are separate; an ordinary Creator Stays profile does not qualify you for either or create their benefits.
3. The host's commitments
Offer only a property you are authorized to provide, with all required owner, landlord, association, permit and rental permissions. Check applicable occupancy, safety, filming and insurance requirements yourself. Maintain appropriate insurance and confirm that the proposed hosted/content stay is covered; STR ToolBox provides no insurance or coverage assessment.
Describe the actual property, availability, accommodation, access and material restrictions truthfully. Disclose relevant construction, unavailable amenities, cameras, shared areas, accessibility limitations, filming restrictions, house rules and costs before agreement. Do not place exact private addresses, entry codes, passwords, payment-card details or guest information in browse profiles.
Provide at least one complimentary overnight and the inclusions you expressly accept. Normal cleaning is host-covered unless a specific exception is accepted in writing. Confirm optional meals, tickets and other perks, their limits and who is included; do not advertise an unconfirmed idea as an inclusion. The host confirms the actual booking directly and is responsible for the property's lawful operation and the promised accommodation.
4. The creator's commitments
Review the property, host, travel arrangements and proposed work yourself before committing. Show representative work and accurate social links. Do not misstate followers, engagement, skills or permissions. Confirm that you can travel, safely participate, meet the accepted deadlines and supply rights-cleared files and publications.
The current content baseline remains: one distinct edited 45–60-second video on both agreed platforms for each arrival-through-departure calendar day, plus three additional updates total per day; five distinct edited property photos per hosted night and the edited daily video files within seven days after checkout; and one distinct property-focused follow-up piece each week for twelve weeks, each published on both agreed platforms. Permanent publications remain public for at least twelve months from each publication; Stories may expire normally. One overnight normally spans two calendar days. Agree exact formats, accounts, dates, evidence links and any permitted variations before confirmation.
Choose at least two platforms from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube Shorts. These are publication choices, not a promise that every format is supported by app auto-posting. Creators remain responsible for checking successful publication and saving evidence. A host's particular audience preference does not create a program-wide follower minimum.
5. Agree the stay, costs and rights directly
Before booking, both parties must accept the same complete collaboration brief: property, dates, local times and time zone, approved guests and pets, complimentary nights, inclusions, exact costs and payers, content counts and formats, two publishing accounts, delivery and follow-up dates, permissions, cancellation, direct contact and backup contact. An introduction is not a booking. The host confirms the reservation only after both parties agree.
Creators cover travel, meals and personal extras unless expressly included. State taxes, cleaning exceptions, additional guests, ticket extras, deposits, damage/security arrangements and other fees in advance. No surprise charges or surprise deliverables. STR ToolBox is not a payer or guarantor for those costs. Do not accept a financial commitment or travel without a confirmed direct arrangement.
The creator retains copyright. Follow the existing program's accepted nonexclusive host/ToolBox reuse arrangement and document usable files, permitted editing, credit, advertising use, music, people and third-party rights in the brief. Do not deliver material you cannot authorize others to use. This agreement does not expand an already accepted content licence or grant rights in material you do not own.
6. Safety, travel and personal choices
You independently decide whether a property, person, trip or activity suits you. Check relevant travel requirements, conditions, transportation, insurance and emergency arrangements. Hosts approve companions, children, pets and visitors expressly in advance; do not bring unapproved people. Each participant is responsible for their own conduct and for obligations that law places on them regarding their guests, staff, property or work.
Do not enter or remain in an unsafe situation to meet a content deadline. Contact local emergency services for immediate danger. Tell your partner promptly about a material safety or property problem and retain relevant evidence. Participation does not make STR ToolBox an emergency-response service, property supervisor or custodian of guests or belongings.
7. Delivery, cancellation and disputes
Creators save the agreed content links and weekly evidence; hosts inspect them and acknowledge receipt or identify a specific missing item. A reminder, website status or receipt acknowledgment does not certify quality, legal compliance or completion of future work. Keep your own calendar and copies; email and external links may be delayed, blocked or unavailable.
For missing work, provide a specific written notice and a seven-day correction/response opportunity. Any proposed monetary allocation must have been agreed before booking and must be lawful; the website does not decide or automatically collect damages. Poor reach by itself is not a failure to deliver the agreed work. Cancellation with at least seven days' notice has no cancellation charge under the current policy; any other accepted terms and emergency or unsafe-property exceptions must be documented beforehand. Discuss weather, illness, closures and material changes directly.
Handle ordinary stay, payment, damage, cancellation and content disputes with your collaboration partner and relevant payment providers, insurers, authorities or legal advisers. STR ToolBox may receive a conduct report and decide how its own community tools are used, but does not undertake to investigate every report, resolve a dispute, enforce your contract or recover a loss. Reporting a concern is not an insurance claim or a promise of an outcome.
8. Honest content and community conduct
A complimentary stay or perk does not buy praise. Give truthful opinions, disclose the hosted relationship clearly, follow applicable advertising rules and obtain necessary permissions. A property tag alone does not explain a complimentary stay. Both parties may leave honest Keys feedback about actual experience and work already due; do not demand favorable feedback, retaliate or fabricate reviews. Reviews are currently private to participants; public rating averages are not enabled.
Do not harass, threaten, discriminate unlawfully, misrepresent, infringe rights, disclose private information or misuse member data. STR ToolBox may restrict its own tools for misuse, subject to applicable law. Access restrictions do not cancel a valid booking or another existing obligation. You must still communicate and meet, lawfully change or resolve your own accepted commitments.
9. Risk allocation and limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you accept the risks associated with independently choosing a collaboration, traveling, entering a property, participating in activities and relying on another participant's information or performance. Claims about another participant's property, conduct, booking, costs or work belong between the responsible parties; STR ToolBox does not assume those obligations by providing the tools.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creator Stays tools are provided as available without a warranty of uninterrupted access, accurate member submissions, safe or suitable accommodation, commercial results or another user's performance. STR ToolBox is not liable for another participant's acts, omissions or independent obligations, or for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost opportunities, expected bookings, anticipated profits or travel expenses arising from that independent collaboration. Applicable platform liability limits in the linked Terms of Service also apply to the extent lawful.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. In particular, it does not excuse fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or other conduct for which a waiver is prohibited, or remove nonwaivable consumer or statutory rights. Nothing requires a dishonest endorsement, prevents a lawful report or honest review, or releases an express obligation that STR ToolBox actually accepted in a separate agreement.
10. Your responsibility for third-party claims
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold STR ToolBox harmless from third-party claims, damages and reasonable expenses caused by your unlawful conduct, infringement, misrepresentations, breach of this agreement or breach of your independent collaboration obligations. This applies only to the extent attributable to your responsibility; it does not require you to indemnify STR ToolBox for its own conduct where doing so is prohibited by law. STR ToolBox will give reasonable notice of an indemnity claim and will not agree a settlement imposing a nonmonetary obligation or admission on you without your consent.
11. Acceptance, updates and records
Your active acceptance is recorded against your website account with this agreement's version and acceptance time. App terms, app signup or a previous general website acceptance do not replace this separate Creator Stays commitment. A materially revised participation agreement requires fresh acceptance before further member-tool use. The separate shared brief still requires both parties' acceptance and direct host booking confirmation for each collaboration.
The general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy remain applicable. This agreement addresses independent Creator Stays participation and does not change app subscriptions, the Ambassador program, or accepted Featured Stays company commitments. Massachusetts governing-law provisions in the general Terms apply, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue.
Keep a copy of this agreement and your briefs. Questions or conduct concerns: socialmedia@str-toolbox.com. Please include the relevant collaboration link and evidence without passwords, card details or access codes.
