What People Are Saying About STR ToolBox as We Prepare to Launch

Four Facebook recommendation excerpts about STR ToolBox: PMS compatibility, ToolBox Jack writing help, easier marketing, and anticipated auto-posting benefits.

As hosts ourselves, we know another app has to earn its place in the day. There is already a property to care for, a guest question to answer and a photograph somewhere on the phone that would be perfect for a post—if only it would stop hiding behind pictures of the grocery list.

That is why the early conversations about STR ToolBox matter to us. We built our self-service STR marketing and pricing app around work hosts actually do: explaining a property’s appeal, preparing promotions and considering rates. As we prepare to launch, we want to share what people have said, with the context that makes those comments useful.

These are excerpts from four Facebook recommendations verified on October 17, 2026. They include individual app experiences and an early expression of support for the founders. They are not a customer count, a rating average or a promise of what another host will achieve. You can read the original recommendations on Facebook.

A companion to the tools you already use

“STR ToolBox tech stack is the perfect companion to my PMS”

— Tim Davies, Facebook recommendation excerpt

Tim’s description points to an important distinction. A property management system and STR ToolBox have different jobs. Our AI-powered STR Tech Stack connects AI Listing Optimization, ToolBox Jack, Content Calendar planning, supported social publishing and pricing scenarios. For pricing research, our resources bring actual current STR market data and technology from Mashvisor, PriceLabs and AirDNA into the workflow. Check the relevant market, observation date and access in your selected tools. We do not operate your property or take over guest services.

Imagine preparing a promotion for a real rental with a covered porch and a dining table that seats six. You gather current photographs, check the actual available dates and use those facts to develop a clear message. Our marketing and supported publishing workflow helps connect preparation with the channels your account supports. You still check the details and choose what goes out.

The practical benefit is less repeated setup between writing, design and planning. Before cancelling an existing subscription, compare the functions you rely on with the features and allowances in your selected ToolBox plan. Keep services you still need. The goal is a useful STR Tech Stack, not a ceremonial bonfire of every password you own.

A first draft can make the blank page less stubborn

“I asked him to write me a blog post and he did and it was GOOD!!!! He is saving me soooo much time!”

— Devon Sorenson, Facebook recommendation excerpt about ToolBox Jack

Meet ToolBox Jack, our STR AI assistant. Devon’s comment describes his individual experience asking Jack for a blog draft. We are glad the writing support helped him; his experience does not establish a fixed time saving for everyone.

Jack can help with listing descriptions, captions, newsletters and other STR writing. Give him the property’s facts, the audience, the purpose and your preferred tone. Then review what he produces. Check the amenities, distances, dates, booking link and any claims about the destination before publishing.

For example, you could ask Jack to help explain why your actual dining setup suits a small family gathering. That is an illustrative task, not a captured Jack response. A six-seat table is useful material. An imaginary banquet hall is not an upgrade to the copy.

The saving comes from having a starting point to edit instead of wrestling every sentence into existence. The finished article still needs your judgment and your knowledge of the stay.

Making marketing feel more approachable

“I hate social media and marketing but this makes it so much easier and even fun!!!”

— Bailey Davidson, Facebook recommendation excerpt; Bailey describes trying the beta version

We understand the appeal. Many people enter hosting because they enjoy places and hospitality. Becoming the person responsible for Tuesday’s caption may arrive later, without a particularly impressive welcome ceremony.

Our templates, saved media and social campaign planning tools support a repeatable process: choose one real property benefit, select a photograph that shows it, prepare the wording and review the finished promotion. Use the Content Calendar to organize the plan and supported connected publishing where available in your account.

Bailey’s enthusiasm is her beta impression. It does not mean every host will enjoy every marketing task or that a planned post guarantees a booking. It does suggest a question worth asking when you evaluate software: does the workflow make the next useful action easier to understand?

Looking forward to less manual posting

“the time i will save with an auto-poster will be a game changer for my small business run by just me!”

— Jillian RN Sliveria, Facebook recommendation excerpt

Jillian, who previously worked with the founders, described the value she hoped to gain from spending less time preparing and posting promotions across platforms. Her wording looks ahead to using the app; it does not report completed time savings.

For a solo host, preparing a reviewed campaign in one workflow can reduce repeated setup and app switching. Check the supported channels and connections in your account, review the creative and booking link, and confirm what is actually queued. The aim is to spend less of the week moving the same caption from window to window.

How to read early STR ToolBox reviews

When you look at STR marketing tools, start with one job you already need to do. Can you make a listing detail clearer? Prepare a promotion from your own photographs? Compare pricing assumptions for a particular period? A focused task gives you something concrete to evaluate.

Review the pricing tools and the marketing features relevant to that task. Consider your current costs and the work involved in moving between separate services. Do not assume every provider subscription, data allowance or publishing destination is included in every plan.

As of October 17, our public availability page shows a waitlist. Check current availability and join the STR ToolBox waitlist for the next step. We are not announcing a release date here.

We appreciate the people who have shared their experiences and encouragement. Read their recommendations in full, bring your own questions and decide how our STR Tech Stack fits the way you work.
